About

Tim Schacker is a fine art photographer based in St. Paul, Minnesota.

His work focuses on the potential of images to transcend their form - to be more than what they appear at first glance.

Beyond capturing a moment or image, his work questions the very possibilities of the image itself with its ability to impart a multitude of meaning, emotions, and narratives. Schacker sees photography as a conversation among the image, the viewer, and the photographer delivering a dialogue between what is seen and what is felt.

“I am interested in the spaces between representation and abstraction, clarity and ambiguity, and reality and imagination,” said Schaker. ”Through my work, I seek to push the boundaries of what a photograph can communicate, exploring the ways in which light, composition, and context can alter our perception of an image’s meaning.”
